Some of our clients:
Jim Polhemus is one of the most dedicated men in the event industry. His passion, leadership and experience are something that is hard to find these days. Jim truly cares about his clients and their programs and does everything to ensure the events go off without a hitch. He values a client’s goals and objectives during every step of the planning process as if they were his own. Jim is the true definition of hospitality.
I have known Jim Polhemus since 1992 when I worked for MCI Telecommunications. At the time, Jim was doing a tutorial and MCI had asked him to present it to their staff in Sports Marketing and Events department. I have always thought of Jim as a great resource and a great manager of people. It would be a number of years later, but our paths crossed again when he was hired by the Ronald Reagan Building to direct the Sales and Event Planning Department. In my current job with American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, I have had many programs at the Reagan Building over the past 15 years. Although most have gone very smoothly, there is always the occasional cancellation and upper management needs to be consulted. Jim has always been a fair negotiator and I really appreciate his flexibility when needed. Jim has a sterling reputation in this industry and outstanding credentials in sales, marketing and event planning.
I worked with Jim Polhemus during the early years of my career at the Ronald Reagan Building as a Sales Manager. Jim was my Director of Event Planning and so much more. Jim serverd as a mentor, advisor, and all around an amazing resource. Jim pushed me and my colleagues to think outside of the box and to find ways to give the best services to out clients. Jim’s counsel helped me close all of my financial sales goals and his continued support helped me build the platform for my own business that now works with “A” list talent like Common, John Legend and Spike Lee to name a few.. Thanks Jim!!
I started working with Jim over 15 years ago, when I was managing a small conference center within the Ronald Reagan Building. From that moment on, Jim was someone I could trust, be honest with and count on to get the job done. Jim worked with us on pricing because he knew of our limited budgets and he valued the relationship over the bottom line.
I’ve been collaborating on events with Jim since the early 90’s, from traveling the US with MCI Telecommunications to right here in our Nation’s Capital at the Ronald Reagan Building. Jim is great to work with, his honesty, integrity and professionalism go unmatched. He is always trying make people understand the bigger picture.. being part of a cohesive team!
